How to Make a Green Smoothie
Blackberry Coconut Smoothie
A great way to incorporate more antioxidant rich berries into your diet and the healing power of some greens to start your day.
Ingredients
1 cup spinach or kale (chop the kale finely if possible if you do not have a high powered blender for easier blending)
1 cup blackberries (I used blackberries because they were all I had on hand and I love the taste of blackberries but this would be good with strawberries or raspberries too)
½ cup almond or coconut milk
1 banana, sliced
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon chia seeds
Directions
Blend and love.

Happy Monday!
You know what I love about Mondays? It’s a fresh start to the workweek, and at least for me, it is a sign of unlimited possibility. When I am in a rush and still want something delicious, I go for a seeded rye toast and an egg folded over easy. I also love my go to protein green smoothie. Here is the recipe!
Ingredients
1 cup spinach
1/2 cup greek yogurt
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1/2 banana
4 ounces of vanilla soymilk
Directions
Blend and serve immediately!
Hope you’re having a happy Monday too!
