Green Superfood Smoothie

A go to combination of mine. The pineapple adds all the sweetness you need and you will have boundless energy after blending. I am a self professed coffee addict, there is nothing like coffee that gets my gears running after a night of restless sleep, but this green smoothie competes with how much it wakes me up.


2 cups spinach, baby leaves, or 1 cup frozen spinach, lightly thawed

2 tablespoons of chia gel (chia seeds soaked in water or coconut water for several hours, good to have on hand in the fridge, and lasts a week!)

3 pineapple rings, or 1 cup pineapple chunks

1/2 cup blueberries, frozen or fresh

1 teaspoon spirulina

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

2 tablespoons goji berries


Blend well and enjoy!

Berry Green Smoothie with Cashew Milk

Check out an awesome cashew milk tutorial like Kate’s from Cookie and Kate to have some cashew milk on hand in the fridge!

This keeps cold for hours too so this is even better for me who is always on the go!


1 cup frozen berries, I usually use mixed or blueberry

5 spinach ice cubes (just add some water to spinach and freeze in ice cube trays for always easy green smoothie making)

1/2 cup unsweetened unflavored almond milk,or more if you want a thinner smoothie

1/4 cup cashew milk

1 tablespoon natural organic nut butter, I usually use almond or peanut

1 teaspoon chia seeds

1 tablespoon organic cacao powder


Blend and love.

How to Make Your Own Cashew Milk, No Draining Necessary

I wish i had a fun tutorial for you guys with some crisp pictures, but all I have is my iPhone which does the job pretty well, and is so portable. I found the perfect cashew milk tutorial from Cookie and Kate and it came out perfect for smoothies and the like. Try it and let me know how you guys like making your own nut milk! No nut bag necessary.

Kale Mint Smoothie

With the help of pineapple, this little guy is refreshing and sweet.


1/4 cup almond milk

1/2 cup pineapple juice or coconut water

1 cup kale, stems removed, washed and torn into pieces

A couple sprigs of mint, depending on how minty you like your smoothie

2 pineapple rings, I usually use the canner version for convenience

1/2 cup blueberries


Blend and adore the minty sweetness of this green smoothie!

Green Heaven Smoothie

Buttery without the butter. Happy spring!

The fastest, most delicious of breakfasts.


1/2 avocado

Agave, to taste, but let’s not go crazy right?

1 cup spinach

Cinnamon, to taste

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 teaspoon chia seeds


Blend and love.

Blueberry Pineapple Green Smoothie

This is hands down one of my favorite breakfast smoothies, I have had it for the last three days. I think I saw a pin on Pinterest about how good blueberries and pineapples are together and I had to try it for myself. This is delicious! The coconut water adds a great, refreshing taste and the color is a pretty indigo.


1 cup baby spinach leaves

2 pineapple rings (I used canned because it’s easier and I like the juice)

1/4 cup pineapple juice

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 cup frozen blueberries

2 tablespoons unsweetened soymilk

1 cup coconut water

1 tablespoon raw almond butter


Blend and enjoy!

Green Tea Green Monster Smoothie

This is your basic green smoothie with the punch from green tea, that you will notice but in a subtle way. I am rushing in the mornings most of the time so I take mine to go.


1 cup green tea, chilled (great to do this step the night before)

1/2 cup chopped apple

1/2 cup pineapple, diced

1/2 cup pear, diced

1 cup baby spinach leaves or 1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed

Herbs, for toxin detoxification (parsley is a safe bet and so is cilantro)


Blend and pour into your container of choice or drink it immediately! Try to consume within two hours if you are taking it to go.

PB Raspberry Smoothie

This smoothie has the great blast from the spinach and the antioxidants from the berries.

Had this one on the commute to work this morning. The color is something I have to work on but that is okay, I will add more red to it from the raspberries for the next one.


1 cup raspberries, frozen or fresh

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 tablespoon natural peanut butter

6 oz soymilk

1 cup spinach


Blend until all ingredients are incorporated and prepare to love your life.
