On Blogging

Blogging is one of the most fun hobbies I have picked up in the past years. I was paid to do it for my college while I studied abroad, and I have kept journals for most of my life. I like journals in a different way because there are so many tangible things you can include in an entry. But blogging is a whole different kind of experience. If you have been thinking about starting a blog, and want to explore different interests, here are five reasons why you should, and you should do it today.

1. Blogging is much simpler than it looks. You don’t need to know HTML and you don’t need to know how to format anything to get started. Those skills come along the way, and there is a variety of blogging platforms available that offer tutorials. WordPress is actually one of the easiest platforms to use, witht he user friendly interface and its seamless integration into different social outlets like Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook and Google Plus.

2. Blog as a release of your emotions and to explore your passions, because it will show you what they really are. Writing about this aspect of my life and exploring this passion forced me to try new products and write about them. It also helped keep me researching new health articles

3. It inspires you to be creative. You want to explore new things for your readers and make sure they have entertaining posts, so when you are passionate about something, that passion is infectious. The best thing I have discovered is that the people you surround yourself with are the biggest motivators in your life, and that having positive people in your life is one of the most important things that you can do for yourself.
