Sundays are really good days. I was running late because the clock jumped forward a hour, but I ended up making up for it by staying later at the studio to help out with a workshop they were having. I need to get myself to one of them these days, and there is a cool one on doing a headstand that I really want to try. The picture below this is of a water bottle one of the yogis left behind, I was struck by truthful such a simple statement is. I didn’t have enough time to run to bikram after my shift and needed some more recovery time at home, so I decided to head home after a quick stop at one of my favorite soap stores to grab some aluminum free deodorant, and to make the switch of making over my makeup bag.
Definitely one of the more beautiful days in Philadelphia lately. I hear this week is supposed to be all nice and warm, and that will be so fabulous!
Made a quick stop at Di Bruno Brothers last week since it was the first time in a long time I was not rushing off to go do something. I got some wedges of cheese for my boss since he got me a great card and gift for my birthday and even took me out to lunch. He got some great cheddar, a good hoppy kind of cheese he could pair with a sweet tasting Riesling I picked up, and one of my favorite goat cheeses from Norway, Gjestolt (??). It tastes like a caramel meets cheese type of cheese, but it is the weirdest and best cheese I have tried in a long time. I tried it first at a wine and cheese night that me and my best friends Christy and Melissa do once in a while. Needless to say, I was suffering the next day but for some cheeses, they are just worth it.
A picture of me working on my birthday and being bored.
I am going to a Breakti class on Friday, can’t wait to review it for you guys and that way you can check it out next time!
