Marinara Poached Egg

I love the flavors of tomato and egg together. This recipe will power you through until lunch!

Ingredients

3 tablespoons marinara sauce (you can jazz up the store brand with some fresh herbs and it will taste like a whole new sauce)

1 egg

1 half Arnold Multigrain pita

Pepper

Directions

Toast pita if you wish. Poach egg in a pot of almost boiling water with some apple cider vinegar mixed in (one capful). Crack the egg into a glass before pouring it into the water and use a spoon to keep the egg whites over the egg. Let sit in hot almost boiling water for 3 minutes or until your desired doneness of yolk in the middle. Drain and dry egg. Serve with marinara sauce and pita, top with pepper.
